Percentual de futuros técnicos de enfermagem e técnicos de enfermagem atuantes adepto ao alcoolismo

Abstract

O alcoolismo entre futuros e atuais técnicos de enfermagem é uma já preocupação crescente. Este estudo objetivou compreender se o alcoolismo tem início na vida acadêmica e identificar variáveis relacionadas. Utilizou-se método hipotético-dedutivo, pesquisa exploratória e análise quantitativa. A amostra consistiu em 116 alunos e ex-alunos da Etec Rodrigues de Abreu, Bauru-SP. Os resultados mostraram que 70% dos entrevistados já ingeriram bebidas alcoólicas, com 57% dos atuantes e 50% dos alunos do primeiro módulo tendo o primeiro contato antes dos 18 anos. A frequência semanal de consumo foi mais alta entre alunos do segundo módulo (27,7%). O estudo evidencia a necessidade de ações preventivas e educativas. Desde 1967, a OMS (Organização Mundial da Saúde) considera o alcoolismo uma doença e recomenda que as autoridades encarem o assunto como questão de saúde pública. O objetivo do estudo é compreender se o alcoolismo tem início na vida acadêmica e conhecer as variáveis para a demanda do alcoolismo. O método de abordagem deste artigo foi o hipotético-dedutivo, seguido de pesquisa exploratória e análise quantitativa, a amostra é composta por alunos do primeiro ao quarto modulo do curso técnico de enfermagem e vinte e ex-alunos atuantes na área da enfermagem e o universo de pesquisa corresponde á escola Etec Rodrigues de Abreu no Município de Bauru SP e Google Forms, sendo propagado o link, em grupos de whatsapp. O estudo evidencia o consumo significativo de álcool entre futuros e atuais profissionais de enfermagem, destacando a necessidade de ações preventivas e educativas.

Alcoholism among future and current nursing technicians is a growing concern. This study aimed to understand whether alcoholism begins during academic life and to identify related variables. A hypothetical-deductive method was used, along with exploratory research and quantitative analysis. The sample consisted of 116 students and alumni of Etec Rodrigues de Abreu, Bauru-SP. The results showed that 70% of respondents had consumed alcoholic beverages, with 57% of working professionals and 50% of first-module students having their first contact before the age of 18. The weekly consumption frequency was highest among second-module students (27.7%). The study highlights the need for preventive and educational actions. Since 1967, the WHO (World Health Organization) has classified alcoholism as a disease and recommends that authorities address it as a public health issue. The objective of the study is to understand whether alcoholism begins during academic life and to identify the variables contributing to alcoholism demand. The methodological approach of this article was hypothetical-deductive, followed by exploratory research and quantitative analysis. The sample comprises students from the first to the fourth module of the nursing technician course and twenty alumni working in the nursing field. The research universe corresponds to the Etec Rodrigues de Abreu school in the municipality of Bauru-SP and Google Forms, with the link disseminated through WhatsApp groups. The study highlights the significant alcohol consumption among future and current nursing professionals, emphasizing the need for preventive and educational measures.
