A responsabilidade socioempresarial no Brasil: uma introdução a essa discussão

Abstract

O objetivo deste TCC foi apresentar a Responsabilidade Socioempresarial no Brasil. A metodologia utilizada compreendeu revisão bibliográfica com o propósito de analisar na literatura o papel desempenhado pelas empresas no âmbito social, visando a uma análise crítica dos resultados, para poder mensurar os benefícios que essas ações trazem para a sociedade na qual a organização está inserida, bem como a análise de casos práticos acompanhados pela mídia durante o período de pesquisa. A responsabilidade socioempresarial ainda compreende as ações de reparação que as organizações devem prestar à sociedade e ao meio ambiente quando, conscientes de que suas atividades, provocam algum dano físico ou psicológico às pessoas e ao meio ambiente colocando em risco a preservação da fauna e da flora, bem como as condições de sobrevivência dos seres humanos existente e das gerações futuras. No Brasil, existem leis que foram criadas especialmente para nortear as organizações e a população quanto à melhor maneira de agir em função da preservação e valorização da vida, porém, muitas vezes, veem-se situações em que acidentes provocados pela falta de prevenção e investimentos em melhoria contínua, quer por parte das organizações, quer por parte do próprio governo em oferecer melhores condições de infraestrutura, acabam por destruir o equilíbrio ambiental e até mesmo comunidades, culminando, muitas vezes, na perda de vidas humanas. A educação e a conscientização da população para a preservação da vida é um fator fundamental para que, em um futuro próximo, seja possível viver em um país sustentável e de melhores condições de vida para todos. Diante desse fato, muitas organizações investem em trabalhos sociais para a população carente que vive em seu redor. São projetos voltados para melhorar a condição de vida das pessoas, por meio da cultura, arte, educação e cidadania.

The aim of this paper was to present Corporate Social Responsibility in Brazil. The methodology used included bibliographical review with the purpose of analyzing in the literature the role played by companies in the social sphere, aiming at a critical analysis of the results, in order to measure the benefits that these actions bring to the society in which the organization is inserted, as well such as the analysis of practical cases followed by the media during the research period. Corporate social responsibility still encompasses the remedial actions that organizations must render to society and the environment when they are aware that their activities cause physical or psychological harm to people and the environment and often pose a risk to preservation fauna and flora, as well as the conditions of survival of existing human beings and future generations. In Brazil, there are laws that were created especially to guide organizations and the population as to the best way to act for the preservation and valorization of life, but often there are situations in which accidents caused by lack of prevention and investments in continuous improvement, both by organizations and by the government itself in offering better infrastructure conditions, end up destroying the environmental balance and even communities, often leading to the loss of human lives. The education and awareness of the population for the preservation of life is a key factor in the near future being possible to live in a sustainable country and better living conditions for all. Faced with this fact, many organizations invest in social work for the needy population that lives around them. These are projects aimed at improving people's living conditions through culture, art, education and citizenship.
