A importância da segurança da informação nas empresas: um estudo de caso sobre a segurança da informação e o fator humano

Abstract

Na sociedade em que vivemos, cada vez mais somos dependentes da tecnologia e dos serviços que ela nos oferece. Diante disso, uma boa parcela de nossas vidas e da privacidade se encontram em meios digitais e supostamente protegidas por senhas e outras etapas de segurança oferecida pela segurança da informação. O presente artigo busca apresentar conceitos essenciais da segurança da informação, como o princípio da confidencialidade, da integridade, da disponibilidade e autenticidade. Ainda na elucidação desses princípios, foi realizado um estudo de caso na empresa GeoPlus onde foi abordado o assunto da segurança da informação no cotidiano da empresa com o apoio de uma entrevista realizada com um dos diretores da empresa em questão. O artigo busca identificar e trazer explicações dadas pela literatura sobre segurança da informação e capacidade cognitiva dos seres humanos, tendo em vista que um dos principais fatores na segurança digital é o uso de senhas, que muitas vezes tendem a ser algo antinatural aos seres humanos em benefício a segurança nos sistemas informatizados.

In the society we live in, we are increasingly dependent on technology and the services it offers us. Given this, a good portion of our lives and privacy are in digital media and supposedly protected by passwords and other security steps offered by information security. This article seeks to present essential concepts of information security, such as the principle of confidentiality, integrity, availability and authenticity. Still in the elucidation of these principles, a case study was carried out in the company GeoPlus where the subject of information security in the daily life of the company was approached with the support of an interview carried out with one of the directors of the company in question. The article seeks to identify and bring explanations given by the literature on information security and the cognitive capacity of human beings, considering that one of the main factors in digital security is the use of passwords, which often tend to be something unnatural to human beings in benefit security in computerized systems.
