A comunicação face às mudanças causadas pelas ferramentas da informática

Abstract

A comunicação ao longo da história humana sofreu e ainda sofre diversas influências. Nela, as mudanças causadas refletem-se claramente no cotidiano das pessoas, principalmente no das crianças e adolescentes. O computador têm se tornado mediador de novas formas e práticas de leitura e escrita, principalmente via Internet. Esse é o novo espaço interativo invadido pelo homem, que passa horas e horas frente à tela do computador divertindo-se com jogos, editando textos, navegando na Internet, lendo e principalmente escrevendo. São formas de leitura e escrita com características próprias e específicas. Leitor e autor se confundem nos hipertextos. Oral e escrita se misturam nas salas de bate-papo, proporcionando o surgimento de uma nova linguagem.

Communication across the human history has suffered and still suffers many influences. The changes that occurred in its field have their effects in people's routine, mainly among children and teenagers. Computer has been the mediator of new writing and reading forms, specifically trough the Net. This is the new interactive space invaded by men that spend hours and hours playing games, editing texts, surfing on the Net, reading and writing in the computer. They are all writing and reading forms with specific characteristics. Reader and author are confounded in the hypertexts. Orality and writing are mixed in the chat rooms, making the emergence of a new language possible.
