A inclusão da pessoa com transtorno do espectro autista: atuação nas instituições de ensino municipal em Bauru

Abstract

O presente trabalho foi desenvolvido com a intenção de abordar um tema atual: o aumento do diagnóstico do Transtorno do Espectro Autista e seu direito à educação. Nosso objetivo é analisar como as instituições municipais de ensino atuam em relação aos alunos com TEA, por meio de pesquisas de campo e questionários com profissionais e pessoas envolvidas nesse contexto. A inclusão desses alunos é fundamental para sua formação geral, abrangendo desde a socialização até a educação. A escola, como agente principal, tem a responsabilidade de garantir a acessibilidade prevista em lei para todos os portadores de TEA. Além disso, é importante promover a conscientização e a capacitação dos professores para lidar com alunos com TEA, proporcionando um ambiente acolhedor e inclusivo. A parceria entre escola, família e profissionais especializados também desempenha um papel fundamental no sucesso da inclusão educacional. Por meio de pesquisas bibliográficas e entrevistas com profissionais da área, buscamos compreender como as instituições públicas e privadas do município de Bauru estão enfrentando os desafios da inclusão e identificar boas práticas que possam ser compartilhadas. Em suma, este trabalho visa contribuir para o debate sobre a inclusão educacional de alunos com TEA, destacando a importância da igualdade e equidade no acesso à educação para todos os estudantes.

This work was developed with the intention of addressing a current topic: the increase in the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and the right to education. Our objective is to analyze how municipal educational institutions act in relation to students with ASD, through field research and questionnaires to professionals and people involved in this context. The inclusion of these students is essential for their general training, which ranges from socialization to education. The school, as the main agent, has the responsibility of guaranteeing the accessibility provided by law for all people with ASD. Furthermore, it is important to promote awareness and training of teachers to deal with students with ASD, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment. Collaboration between school, family and specialized professionals also plays a fundamental role in the success of educational inclusion. Through bibliographic research and interviews with professionals in the area, we seek to understand how public and private institutions in the city of Bauru face the challenges of inclusion and identify good practices that can be shared. Ultimately, this work aims to contribute to the debate on the educational inclusion of students with ASD, highlighting the importance of equality and equity in access to education for all students.
