Educação ambiental com Matricaria chamomilla L. para tratamento de ansiedade

Abstract

O presente trabalho visa apresentar a relevância do uso da Matricaria chamomilla L. em diversas formas, como chás, óleos e produtos comerciais, para fins medicinais e tratamentos psicológicos, com ênfase no transtorno de Ansiedade Generalizada (TAG). O projeto Green Med propôs uma palestra na Unidade Municipal de Ensino Rui Barbosa, em Cubatão-SP, com o intuito de promover o conhecimento sobre plantas medicinais. Os objetivos específicos incluíram a análise de artigos, diálogo com profissionais da área, extração do extrato oleoso da camomila para distribuição, confecção de sabonetes e realização da palestra na escola. Durante a palestra, observou-se que a abordagem educacional ambiental despertou o interesse dos alunos, evidenciando sua motivação em relação à preservação e cuidados com a natureza, ressaltando o potencial dos fitoterápicos.

The present work aims to present the relevance of the use of Matricaria chamomilla L. in various forms, such as teas, oils and commercial products, for medical purposes and psychological treatments, with emphasis on generalized anxiety disorder (TAG). The Green Med project proposed a lecture at the Rui Barbosa Municipal Education Unit in Cubatão, with the aim of promoting knowledge about medicinal plants. Specific objectives included the analysis of articles, dialogue with professionals in the area, extraction of the oily extract of chamomile for distribution, making soaps and holding the lecture at the school. During the lecture, it was noted that the environmental educational approach aroused the interest of the students, highlighting their motivation in relation to conservation and care of nature, stressing the potential of herbal therapies.
