Análise dos resíduos no manguezal do bairro do Jardim Casqueiro, Cubatão-SP

Abstract

O manguezal, são ecossistemas típicos de transição de regiões denominadas tropicais e subtropicais, são definidos como um ecossistema de transição entre ambiente terrestre e marinho. Os manguezais são formados por arvores de raízes e outras espécies arbústeas que conseguem resistir ao fluxo marítimo e a água salina do mar. O objetivo central do trabalho é analisar a degradação decorrente dos impactos dos resíduos sólidos no Manguezal do Bairro do Jardim Casqueiro no Município de Cubatão-SP. Propõe-se assim, apresentar reflexões na população sobre suas ações que podem está influenciando na degradação desse ecossistema e que também podem contribuir para reverter essa situação presente nesses locais com ações de limpeza e o não descarte de resíduos de pessoas que morram perto dessas regiões de manguezal. Esse Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso é de extrema importância para analisar a de degradação ocorrida nesses ambientes através de dados e demonstrar que esses resíduos impactam na biodiversidade da fauna e da flora, além do comprometimento do solo rico que é rico em matéria orgânica, afetando todo o ecossistema. Por isso, esse trabalho de conclusão de curso, é de extrema importância para que as pessoas tenham noção do quanto o descarte impacta na degradação desses ambientes e que é necessário que a população esteja preocupada com questões ambientais.

The mangrove swamps, typical transitional ecosystems in regions classified as tropical and subtropical, serve as a transition between terrestrial and marine environments. Mangroves consist of trees with roots and other shrub species capable of withstanding marine flow and salty seawater. The primary aim of this study is to analyze the degradation resulting from the impacts of solid waste in the Casqueiro Garden District Mangrove in the municipality of Cubatão. Consequently, the objective is to raise awareness among the population regarding actions that may be contributing to the degradation of this ecosystem. Additionally, the study suggests that individuals can play a role in reversing this situation by engaging in cleaning efforts and properly disposing of waste, particularly those living in close proximity to mangrove regions. This thesis holds significant importance as it seeks to analyze the degradation occurring in these environments through collected data. It aims to demonstrate that the residues from solid waste have adverse effects on the biodiversity of both fauna and flora. Furthermore, these residues compromise the nutrient-rich soil abundant in organic matter, thereby affecting the entire ecosystem. In summary, this thesis is crucial in making people aware of how waste disposal practices impact the degradation of these environments. It underscores the necessity for the population to be concerned about environmental issues and emphasizes the role individuals can play in preserving and restoring these crucial ecosystems.
