LocPet: aplicativo para localização de animais

Abstract

Com o advento da pandemia do Covid 19, a conjuntura social, política, econômica e cultural da sociedade sofreu fortes e abruptos abalos, face ao inesperado da nova situação. Pessoas perderam os seus empregos, deram adeus aos amigos e parentesqueridos, e tiveram reviravoltas em sua rotina. A alteração de rotina dos animais domésticos não foi diferente, eis que também sofreram com a alteração da rotina e da vida de seus proprietários. Verifica-se, entretanto que o número crescente na população de pets é também observado na quantidade de abandono desses animaispor todo o país nos últimos anos. Dessa forma e afigurando-se possível, foi realizadouma reunião de ideias entre o grupo, para desenvolver uma contribuição à sociedadena solução desse grave problema. Neste contexto, foi idealizada a confecção de um sistema mobile, no intuito de auxiliar na localização de animais perdidos ou abandonados. Diante do exposto, o objetivo do presente trabalho é oferecer uma novaalternativa para que os usuários possam utilizar a ferramenta, não somente como interface para encontrar seu animal perdido, como também acessar conteúdo educativo sobre conscientização à adoção responsável. Isto feito, desejamos que seja um instrumento contributivo no despertar da população para a localização dos animais e contribua para alterar a triste e desumana prática do abandono dos animais.

With the advent of the Covid 19 pandemic, the social, political, economic situation and cultural structure of society suffered strong and abrupt shocks, in the face of the unexpected new situation. People lost their jobs, said goodbye to friends and loved ones, and there were upheavals in their routine. Changing the routine domestic animals was no different, as they also suffered from changes in routine and the lives of their owners. It is verified, however, that the number growing in the population of pets is also observed in the amount of abandonment of these animals across the country in recent years. In this way, appearing possible, a meeting of ideas was held between the group, to develop a contribution to society in solving this serious problem. In this context, it was idealized the confection of a mobile system, in order to assist in the localization of lost or abandoned animals. In view of the above, the purpose of this work is to offer a new alternative so that users can use the tool, not only as an interface to find your lost pet, but also also access educational content on awareness of responsible adoption. This done, we wish it to be a contributory instrument in the awakening of population for the location of animals and contribute to change the sad and inhumane practice of abandoning animals.
