Análise do impacto da pandemia do covid-19 na cibersegurança

Abstract

Este texto tem como objetivo analisar o impacto da pandemia do Covid-19 no contexto da cibersegurança. Conceitualizando os conhecimentos referentes aos diferentes tipos de ataques cibernéticos, informação e dados, além das recém aprovadas leis de proteção aos dados pessoais, o texto explora os tipos de ataques cibernéticos mais recorrentes durante a pandemia e suas formas de infecção e disseminação, através de casos ocorridos no ano de 2020. Com base no que se é estudado sobre os casos, elenca-se a partir de informações em artigos de instituições de renome na área de segurança as motivações dos ataques cibernéticos, que vão desde phishing até fake news como principal forma de disseminação. Também é ressaltado sobre a importância de transformar o conhecimento sobre segurança da informação de fácil acesso e público, atingindo todas as massas e esferas.

The present text has as objective to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in the cybersecurity context. Conceptualizing the knowledge among the different types of cyber attacks, information and data, including the recently approved personal data protection laws, this text explores the most recurring types of cyber attacks during the pandemic and it’s methods of infection and spreading, by studying occurring cases during the year of 2020. Based on the studies of the cases, the motivation behind the attacks are studied from information of articles from renowned institutions in the cybersecurity area, those that goes from phishing to fake news as the main method of spreading. It is also highlighted the importance of changing the knowledge around information security as na easy access and public information, achieving all the spheres in the society.
