Abstract

O Weka é uma ferramenta simples e gratuita amigável para o usuário e fácil de uso. Com ela é possível se aprofundar em conceitos sobre Machine Learning e Data Mining. Data Mining é uma técnica que faz parte do fluxo Knowledge Discovery in Databases. Com a utilização do Data Mining é possível analisar uma grande quantidade de dados sem interferência humana, onde no final todos os dados analisados são exibidos de forma legível para humanos, dessa forma é possível encontrar correlações ou anomalias entre os dados analisados. Com a utilização do Weka, nós podemos nos aprofundar nos conceitos desta técnica, utilizando vários algoritmos diferentes com vários dados e bases diferentes. Assim a ferramenta pode ser útil para estudantes que desejam aprender mais sobre Data Mining, professores que desejam lecionar sobre o assunto e até mesmo situações do mundo real.
