Neste contexto, busca-se identificar primeiramente o que é a amônia, quais os procedimentos necessários para a prevenção de acidentes no trabalho, quais os riscos existentes, os Equipamentos de Proteção Individual (E.P.I’s) corretos para este manuseio, rotas de fuga, mapa de riscos, monitoramento da saúde ocupacional através do Atestado de Saúde Ocupacional (A.S.O), sinalização de segurança e treinamentos, a pesquisa foi realizada através de entrevista com um Engenheiro de Segurança do Trabalho atuante na área e um Químico, evidenciando que um acidente de trabalho com este produto coloca em risco a vida não somente de quem está trabalhando diretamente com a substância, mas toda a empresa, por ser um gás tóxico e incolor pode se espalhar por toda empresa e arredores causando contaminação em larga escala, sendo que esta contaminação por amônia pode ser fatal e levar a óbito. Prevenção.; ABSTRACT This article aims to analyze the importance of preventing accidents at work with ammonia as safety in the work environment is essential for the physical and mental health and physical integrity of the employee, in addition to reflecting on the benefits for the company in terms of productivity and market reference. In this context, we seek to first identify what ammonia is, what procedures are necessary to prevent accidents at work, what risks exist, the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for this handling, escape routes, map of risks, monitoring occupational health through the Occupational Health Certificate (A.S.O), safety signage and training, the research was carried out through an interview with an Occupational Safety Engineer working in the area and a Chemist, showing that A work accident with this product puts the lives of not only those working directly with the substance at risk, but the entire company, as it is a toxic and colorless gas that can spread throughout the company and its surroundings, causing large-scale contamination, being that this ammonia contamination can be fatal and lead to death. No entanto, frequentemente, o bem-estar psicológico é ofuscado pela preocupação excessiva com aspectos visíveis da segurança. A proposta “O Reflexo da Mente” busca destacar a relação entre a saúde mental e o desempenho educacional, mostrando como o bem-estar psicológico dos professores influencia diretamente a eficácia de suas práticas pedagógicas. Este estudo qualitativo explorou os principais fatores que têm afetado a saúde mental dos docentes na rede de ensino de Teodoro Sampaio/SP, revelando que muitos se sentem sobrecarregados e carecem de suporte institucional. Com base nos dados coletados, foi proposto a criação de uma sala de descanso que funcione como um espaço acolhedor e tranquilo, onde os educadores possam relaxar e recuperar suas energias. Essa iniciativa inclui o desenvolvimento de programas de apoio psicológico, treinamentos de conscientização e a promoção de uma cultura que valorize o autocuidado. Ao espelhar a saúde mental na segurança do trabalho, o projeto busca sugerir um ambiente de trabalho que não seja apenas um local de cumprimento de protocolos, mas também um espaço que priorize o bem-estar dos professores, contribuindo para um um ambiente escolar mais completo e realmente seguro.; ABSTRACT Teachers' mental health is a fundamental pillar for ensuring a safe and productive school environment. However, psychological well-being is often overshadowed by an excessive focus on visible aspects of safety. The proposal "The Reflection of the Mind" aims to highlight the relationship between mental health and educational performance, demonstrating how teachers' psychological well-being directly influences the effectiveness of their teaching practices. This qualitative study explored the mental health of teachers in the educational network of Teodoro Sampaio/SP, revealing that many feel overwhelmed and lack institutional support. Based on the collected data, the creation of a rest room was proposed, functioning as a welcoming and peaceful space where educators can relax and recharge. This initiative includes the development of psychological support programs, awareness training, and the promotion of a culture that values self-care. By reflecting mental health in occupational safety, the project seeks to create a work environment that is not only a place for fulfilling protocols but also a space that prioritizes teachers' well-being, contributing to a more comprehensive and truly safe school environment.
